The Penticton and Naramata areas offer a host of things to do. There is something for every age and interest. Of course, the Penticton area is well known for its beaches and crystal-clear lakes. Over the years it has also become very popular with golfers, with a variety of courses from which to choose .

The local wineries are attracting a lot of attention - particularly the twenty or so (at last count!) right here in the Naramata area. While you are visiting wineries and enjoying fine cuisine, drop by the many artists and artisans who create in the Naramata area.

For over a hundred years the area has also been a destination for fishermen, who head not only for Okanagan Lake but also the myriad of smaller lakes accessible in the area.

There is plenty of sightseeing available as well. Historic Naramata Village is well worth a visit. Just twenty minutes away, the S.S. Sicamous a restored 1914 paddlwheeler has delighted young and old. Closer to home, running right at the edge of Majestic Hills is the Kettle Valley Trail, part of the Trans-Canada Trail, with stunning vistas and historical sights - it was once the right-of-way for the Kettle Valley Railroad- and it is ideal for hiking and cycling.

For rock climbers there are the Skaha Bluffs just south of Penticton. For sailors, there are sailboat rentals available on Okanagan Lake. Water skiers and wakeboarders will have a great time as well.

In Penticton there are amusement parks with mini-golf, go carts and more. There are art galleries and museums to see. And let's not forget the beautiful enviroment with abundant birds and wildlife. There are numerous Provincial Parks in the area which allow for some spectacular touring.

During the May through October period there are a host of festivals and events, among them Fest-Of-Ale, Spring Wine Festival, Meadowlark Festival, Peach City Beach Cruise & Antique Car Show, the Elvis Festival, Peach Festival, Ironman Canada Triathlon, Pentastic Jazz Festival and Okanagan Fall Wine Festival (one of the top 100 events in North America).
