Majestic Hills Guesthouse,
Naramata, BC
Ah, summer! Glorious Okanagan summer!
Every year summer catches us by surprise. Not that we don’t know it is coming but each summer season brings its own very special delights and surprises, new friends and abundant good times.
One morning we just wake up and notice that all the vineyards and orchards are in full leaf, our local quail have miniscule nestlings and fawns show up with their mothers. The Okanagan sky takes on a deeper hue in summer and the days begin to heat up. The sunsets from our deck become wondrous works of art, with amazing colours flooding the sky.
Mornings are greeted with the chorus of the birds. The afternoons hum with insects busily going about their tasks. Our evenings are serenaded by the hushed symphony of the pines around us, with an occasional solo by a bird, as if to greet the spectacular blaze of the stars and planets in the crystal summer night sky.
Guests tell us that returning to Majestic Hills after a day of golf, wine touring or enjoying the many treasures of the area around Penticton, it is always a pleasure to return to the peace and tranquility of Majestic Hills, to relax in the pool or hot tub, sit on the patios and sip a glass of Okanagan wine or gather with family and friends to share their adventures.
Yes, summer is truly the Okanagan’s magical season and a very special time at Majestic Hills.
