Guests at Majestic Hills Guesthouse have a great menu of things to choose from during their stay. Nestled as we are on the Naramata Bench, we have the great advantage of a quiet, private setting while a host of attractions and activities are near at hand.

To start with, the famed Kettle Valley Trail is right at our doorstep. It’s perfect for a few minutes quiet stroll in a beautiful natural setting, or you can set out on a day hike that will take you through some of the most spectacular countryside in British Columbia. The trail runs for some 160 kilometres through the Okanagan and Kettle River valleys. If you’re a photographer remember to bring extra memory cards!

The other great advantage to our location on the Naramata Bench is that there are more than 20 superb wineries all around us. Many of our guests enjoy touring the wineries and vineyards (and tasting their wares, of course!) plus there is also gourmet cuisine to be savoured at several.

Golf is another great passion with many of our guests and within a half hour drive you have your pick of absolutely beautiful golf courses, many with breathtaking views of Okanagan Lake or the valley.

Speaking of Okanagan Lake, let’s not forget the beaches. Penticton is, of course, famous for its beaches, but Naramata offers Manitou Beach and others can be found along the lakeshore between Naramata and Penticton. Okanagan Lake offers terrific waterskiing and sailing, boat rentals are available in Penticton and fishing is very popular on both Okanagan Lake and the smaller lakes in the area.

A stay in Naramata wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Village of Naramata. One of the original Okanagan settlements, it has retained the village feel while offering visitors many interesting things to see and experience, such as the Naramata Heritage Museum. Naramata is also a very popular location for artists and artisans and their studios are well worth a visit.
